Using iPad has been a very exciting experience. I find it much more comfortable to read on the iPad rather than on a laptop screen. I take it with me at school and at work as well. I am not allowed to take books and read while at work but with the iPad I think I am getting away with it, at least till now, lol. And of course I use it when I am not busy but it helped me catch up with my readings. I also use the iPad for my other classes as well. Today I had a group meeting for another class and used the iPad to take notes as well as search for information. It was very helpful and it made me look prepared and organized.

iBook app
iPad inspires creativity and hands-on learning on a device that students really want to use. There are many apps that allow students to engage with content in interactive ways, find information in an instant, and access an entire library whenever they go. iPad takes learning to a whole new level with the introduction of Multi-Touch textbooks. I personally find iBooks app very useful and have already downloaded 3 books and several articles. Instead of holding the books and printing out all those articles I am now experiencing the most amazing textbooks I have ever read. I can flip through a book by sliding my finger along the bottom of the screen. Highlighting text, taking notes, searching for content, and finding definitions in the glossary are just as easy. With all my books on a single ipad, I will have no problem carrying them wherever I go.
